The 2024 Cure VCP Disease Celebration is just around the corner, and we wanted to give you an idea of what to expect. In this guide you’ll find some basic information about event, but we’ve also included some extras like places to stay and some fun things to do while in town!
Event Basics
When: Saturday, August 10, 2024
Doors Open: 5:30 PM
Bar Opens: 6:00 PM
Food Available: 6:15 PM
Event Officially Ends (Bar closes)Time: 10:00 PM
Event space is indoors and air conditioned!
Entrance: Walk through the outdoor courtyard to the double doors of Fall Line Station.
Do not enter through the Fall Line Brewing entrance.
Parking: Free parking is available across the street at 611 3rd St Macon, GA 31201
Accessibility: There are accessible parking spots in our designated parking lot and it is safe and easy to cross Plum Street if you have a scooter or wheelchair. If you require a shorter distance there is a back entrance accessible via alley. Please let us know ASAP if you need special accommodations to get from your car to your table. Fall Line will have an attendant available to let you in the back alley and back entrance. Ask us for more information.
Attire: We encourage you to dress up in Southern Chic. What the heck is that?? Southern chic is wearing a tailored dress or bow tie. Southern style is seersucker and gingham, eyelet and linen, and loving your signature scent. Southern style is dressing up your school colors. Southern style is channeling the best of the South—the culture, the people, the history—and wearing your look with pride. But most importantly, be comfortable, but no jean shorts!!
WHY A CELEBRATION?
There is no better way to spread awareness and raise funds than by bringing together a community of individuals who are ready to fight and party with a purpose. The money we raise from the Celebration will support funding important research projects and critical resources that are important for VCP disease patients around the world. Bringing us together as a community to celebrate reminds us that we are in this fight together!

All-you-can-eat BBQ from SmokeSouth BBQ – The menu is Brisket, Pulled Pork, Smoked Chicken, Green Beans, Mac n' Cheese. Your taste buds will thank you!
Complimentary drinks featuring Fall Line's finest brews and wine– Cheers to that! Soft drinks will be available as well.
Potential to win $1,250 in cash prizes – Three bingo games give you a chance to win cash! Increase your chances by purchasing extra bingo cards!
Family-friendly fun! Kids can play bingo and win too!

HOW WILL BINGO WORK?
There will be three games of bingo played with a chance to win cash prizes! Every attendee will receive one bingo card set. Extra bingo cards can be purchased for $10 per card per game. Increase your odds of winning and raise more money for a cure by buying extra bingo cards.
Game 1: Make a “C” first and win $250!
Game 2: Make a “P” first and win $250!
Game 3: Blackout - Mark your entire card and win $500!
HOW DO I PARTICIPATE IN THE AUCTION?
All silent auctions will be conducted via our event page on Givebutter.
Registration on the givebutter webpage is required to start bidding.
Bidding will open on Wednesday, August 7th, 2024 at 9:00 AM ET
Bidding will close on Saturday, August 10, 2024 at 9:30 PM ET.
Bidders set a maximum bid amount on an item. If other bids are placed, the system will automatically increase your bid until you are either the highest bidder or your max bid has been exceeded. If you are outbid (max bid exceeded by someone else), you will receive a notification and can return to increase your max bid.

HOW DO I PARTICIPATE IN RAFFLES?
10 raffle tickets are offered for $30
Raffle winners must be present at the event to win.
Raffle tickets can be purchased in advance or at the event.
Place tickets in bowls at individual items or play to have a chance of winning!
